Okay, so just like everyone else has, we did the slow cooked chicken Carbonara tonight for dinner and omg, it was devine, everybody loved it, we have a 8 litre slow cooker so added a bit more ingredients but some remained the same


1.5kg chicken thighs diced
300g bacon diced
400g mushrooms sliced
1 onion diced
2 tablespoons of crushed garlic
3 cans cream of chicken condensed soup
600ml thickened cream
2 chicken stock cubes
750g pack of penne pasta
We will definitely be having this again….

Add chicken, onion, bacon, mushrooms, stock cube into 6L slow cooker.
Pour over soups.
Add cream
Stir together
Cook on low for 4 hours.
Put pasta (uncooked) in slow cooker.
Gently combine.
Cook on high for a further 1.5 hours in slow cooker and serve.
