Honey Sesame Chicken

Honey Sesame Chicken. I am a fan of sticky honey sesame chicken and this one did not fail me! This recipe is sweet, sticky, and full of flavour. The chicken cooks slowly in a rich honey and soy sauce mixture. It becomes tender and juicy and tastes great with rice or vegetables.

Notes

As I used drumsticks, you can also use other chicken parts such as wings and thighs in case you want. In case fillet is to be used, it will require less cooking time compared to bone in pieces.

Kecap Manis is not ordinary soy, it is a sweet syrupy form of soy. It can be found at the traditional supermarkets, normally within the Asian foods section.

This recipe is beautiful when it is accompanied by fried rice and Asian vegetables. Tasting good with mash and steamed vegetables of your choice, also.
