Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Slow Cooker beef stroganoff recipe. Meat was so tender and absolutely delicious

Ingredients:

1 kg Rump steak sliced (as much or as little as you want)
2 cups beef stock
2x packet of Maggi beef stroganoff base sachet mixed into 1 cup cold water
500g mushrooms
Medium onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons paprika
1 block of cream cheese (optional)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 packet of spiral pasta (optional, this can be served on mashed potatoes or rice)

Let’s see how to make Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Directions:

1.Sear steak in batches on high heat until brown, add to slow cooker
2. Cook onions and garlic until soft, add to slow cooker
3. Add beef stock and 2x beef stroganoff base recipe mixed into 1 cup of cold water in slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours
4. At 4 hour mark cook mushrooms until brown. Mix 1 tablespoon of flour into mushrooms until gluggy looking. Add to slow cooker.
5. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons paprika onto ingredients in slow cooker, lightly mix through.
6. If using pasta cook pasta In the last half hour. Cut cream cheese into cubes and add to slow cooker, lightly mix through until cream cheese is melted. Now lightly mix through sour cream.
7. You can add cooked pasta at the end or 30 minutes before ready so the sauce soaks into the pasta a bit.
Serve and enjoy 😍
It would be extra delicious with warm home baked bread but I’m not that great, yet lol.
