Steak Casserole Recipe served with instant mash, roast potatoes & a sausage.

Ingredients:

An Iceland 16oz big daddy rump steak
100g of sliced carrots
200g tin of baked beans
A small sweet potato peeled and chopped 160g
30g of dried red lentils
30g of dried barley
20g of dried onions
2 OXO beef stock cubes
Dried mixed herbs
Onion granules
1/2litre of cold water

Directions:

Browned the rump steak in an air fryer for 5 mins on each side

Cook in the slow cooker on high for 2 hours then low for about another 6 hours. Total electricity used 0.88kwh or a cosy of 30p

Total weight of the finish casserole is about 1.6kg, served as 4 portions of about 400 gram each.

Also served with 100 gram of instant mashed potatoes a couple of roast potatoes & a sausage, cooked in an airfryer.
