How Long Does It Take
Getting ready: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 4 hours
Total time: about 4 hours and 10 minutes
Ingredients You’ll Need
- 1 big package of frozen meatballs (about 35 meatballs)
- 1 brown onion, cut into thin slices
- 1 jar of honey mustard sauce (the kind you pour over food)
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of mustard with seeds in it
- A small handful of baby spinach leaves (about 2 ounces)
How to Make Yummy Honey Mustard Meatballs
- Put the sliced onion on the bottom of your slow cooker. Then put all the frozen meatballs on top of the onion.
- Mix together the honey mustard sauce, the extra honey, and the mustard in a bowl. Pour this yummy mix all over the meatballs. Don’t stir it yet!
- Put a tea towel on top (this helps keep the heat in). Cook everything on low heat for 3 and a half hours.
- After 2 hours of cooking, you can gently stir everything together if you want. The meatballs will be cooked all the way through by now, so they won’t fall apart.
- Add the spinach leaves and cook for 30 more minutes. Now you’re done! Total cooking time is 4 hours.
- Serve your meatballs with mashed potatoes or rice. You can add some steamed vegetables on the side too!
