Tasmanian Apple Casserole

Tasmanian Apple Casserole. A warm and simple slow cooker meal made with lamb, apples, and apple juice. The flavours slowly blend together to create a comforting dish that is naturally free from canola, dairy, egg, gluten, lactose, and soy.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg lamb, diced

  • 2 tblspns plain flour (Well and Good)

  • 1 red onion, diced

  • 3 apples, diced

  • 1.5 cups of apple juice (Kalangadoo Organic)

  • Fresh mint, chopped in half (I did not have any, so I used a quarter of a cup of mint jelly)

  • Salt

  • Pepper

Tasmanian Apple Casserole: Instructions

  1. Place lamb, onion and apple in slow cooker.

  2. Combine flour and apple juice and pour it and sprinkle it with mint and salt and pepper.

  3. Cook on high for 5 hrs.
