Servings: 10
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 blocks of milk chocolate (400g total)
  • 1 packet of Tim Tams (200g) — chocolate biscuits covered in a thin layer of chocolate
  • 1 packet of red frogs (190g) — or you can use Turkish delight, raspberry lollies, or glazed cherries instead
  • 1 packet of marshmallows (280g)
  • A handful of chopped peanuts

Slow Cooker Tim Tam Rocky Road: Directions

  1. Turn your slow cooker on to HIGH heat and leave the lid off. Put the blocks of milk chocolate inside and let them slowly melt. This can take about 20 minutes, especially if the slow cooker was already warm before you added the chocolate. Stir every few minutes to help it melt evenly.
  2. While you wait for the chocolate to melt, get your other ingredients ready. Cut the marshmallows in half using scissors or a knife. Then break the Tim Tams into small, rough pieces — you can just snap them apart with your hands.
  3. Once the chocolate is fully melted and smooth, turn the slow cooker off. It will still stay warm, but it won’t be hot enough to melt the marshmallows and biscuits too much when you add them in.
  4. Add the cut marshmallows, broken Tim Tams, red frogs, and chopped peanuts into the melted chocolate. Mix everything together well with a spoon so all the pieces get coated in chocolate.
  5. Line a slice tray (about 20cm x 30cm) with baking paper. Scoop the chocolate mixture out of the slow cooker and spread it evenly into the tray.
  6. Place the tray in the fridge and let it set for 1 to 2 hours, until firm.
  7. Once set, cut the rocky road into squares or bars and enjoy!
