Ingredients

  • Steak ➔ 750 gm

  • Seasoned flour ➔ 3 tbs

  • Onions, sliced ➔ 2

  • Beef stock powder or cubes ➔ 2 tsp or 2 cubes

  • Vegemite ➔ 1 tsp

  • Water ➔ 1 cup

  • Tomato paste ➔ 1 tbs

  • Worcestershire sauce ➔ 1 tbs

Braised Steak and Onions: Instructions

  1. Place steak in a plastic bag with seasoned flour and shake to coat.

  2. Put the coated steak in the slow cooker along with the sliced onions.

  3. Combine all other ingredients in a jug, then pour into the slow cooker with steak and onions.

  4. Cook on low for 8 hours, occasionally stirring when possible.
