Vermicelli Noodles with Chicken Soup. This warm chicken soup with soft noodles is easy to make and tastes really yummy on a cold day!
What You Need
- 4 to 8 chicken thighs, cut into thin pieces
- 6 cups of chicken broth
- 2 cups of water (add this if your soup needs more liquid)
- 2 onions, chopped into small pieces
- Garlic, as much as you like
- 2 teaspoons of curry powder
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1/2 cup of oyster sauce
- 1 packet of chicken noodle soup mix (or a few broth cubes)
- Vermicelli noodles — use only half of a 200g packet (the whole packet will drink up all your soup!)
- 2 cups of frozen vegetables like cauliflower, green beans, and carrots (or add more if you want)
How To Make Vermicelli Noodles with Chicken Soup
- Cook the chopped onion and garlic in a pan until they turn brown. Then add the chicken and cook it until it gets brown too.
- Put everything into your slow cooker — but not the noodles yet!
- Turn the slow cooker to High and cook for 3 and a half hours.
- About 20 minutes before the soup is ready, put the noodles on top of the soup. Stir them a few times while they get soft.
- Your soup will smell amazing and taste even better!
Important
⚠️ Don’t cook the noodles too long or they will get mushy and fall apart!
