Prosciutto Prawns or Chicken with Garlic Butter. Yummy skewers wrapped in thin ham and coated in garlic butter — perfect for sharing at parties!
What You Need
- Big prawns, cleaned and peeled, OR chicken strips
- Thin slices of Prosciutto (fancy Italian ham)
- Garlic butter (from the store or mix butter with chopped garlic)
- Skewers (if they are wooden, soak them in water for 15 minutes first)
How to Make Prosciutto Prawns or Chicken
- Put one slice of Prosciutto flat on the table.
- Spread lots of garlic butter on top of it.
- Place one prawn or one chicken strip at the end of the slice.
- Roll the ham around the prawn or chicken to wrap it up.
- Push it onto a skewer.
- Do this with all your prawns or chicken pieces.
- Put a piece of non-stick baking paper in the slow cooker.
- Lay all the skewers on top of the paper.
- Turn the slow cooker to HIGH.
- Cook chicken for 45 minutes.
- Cook prawns for 15 minutes.
Good to Know
- If your slow cooker is cold when you start, add about 10 more minutes to the cooking time.
- When they are done, pour the yummy garlic butter juice from the pot over the skewers.
- These are great to serve at parties or as a starter before a big meal! 😊
