Cheesy Pasta Delight

Cheesy Pasta Delight. Do you love pasta? This dish is so good and easy to make! The sauce is creamy and a little bit tangy (that means it has a sour taste). It has soft pasta that tastes like little pillows filled with spinach and cheese. When you mix it all together, you get a super creamy, delicious meal that everyone at the table will ask for more of!

Things You Need for the Sauce

  • 2 jars of red sauce (500 grams each) – the kind with red wine in it works great
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes (400 grams)
  • 1 or 2 big spoons of minced garlic (tiny cut-up garlic pieces)
  • 2 big spoons of dried Italian herbs (spices that taste Italian)
  • 2 big spoons of dried oregano (another dried herb)
  • 3 or 4 big spoons of red wine
  • 1 onion, chopped into small pieces
  • 100 grams of bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 4 to 6 sundried tomatoes, cut up (you can use scissors to cut them)
  • 300 milliliters of cooking cream (the kind you use for cooking)

For the Pasta

  • 1 bag of fresh ravioli pasta (630 grams) – the kind filled with spinach and cheese

To Put on Top

  • Shaved parmesan cheese (thin pieces of cheese)
  • Sour cream

Steps to Make Cheesy Pasta Delight

  1. Open your slow cooker. Put in the red sauce, canned tomatoes, garlic, Italian herbs, oregano, red wine, onion, bacon, sundried tomatoes, and cooking cream. Mix everything together really well. Do NOT add the pasta yet!
  2. Turn on your slow cooker to LOW heat. Let it cook for 4 hours. This gives all the flavors time to mix together.
  3. After 4 hours, add your ravioli pasta to the pot. Stir it gently so the pasta doesn’t break apart.
  4. Turn the heat back to LOW and cook for 1 more hour and 30 minutes. The pasta will get soft and yummy.
  5. Carefully scoop the pasta and sauce into bowls. Put some shaved parmesan cheese on top and add a spoonful of sour cream.
  6. Eat and enjoy!

Helpful Tips

  • This recipe uses ravioli (pasta pillows with filling), but you can use any pasta you like!
  • Don’t stir the pasta too much, or it might fall apart.
  • If you like more cheese, add extra Parmesan on top.
  • Sour cream makes it taste extra creamy and special!
