1 kg ground pork and beef mix (half pork, half beef)

⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 garlic cloves, smashed

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

¼ cup breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, chopped small

2 celery sticks, chopped

500g tomato paste (one big can)

2 teaspoons white sugar

350 g rigatoni pasta

Mix ground meat, garlic, cheese, parsley, and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Squish it together with your hands!

Heat oil in a pot on medium. Add onion and celery. Stir for 4 minutes until soft. Stir in tomato paste, sugar, and 6 cups water.

Roll meat mix into small balls (about walnut size, 20g each).

Pour sauce into a big 5L slow cooker. Add meatballs on top. Put lid on and cook on low for 4 hours.

Stir in pasta. Cook 45 more minutes. (Tip: Mix 4 tablespoons cornstarch with 1 cup water and add it to make sauce thicker!)

Scoop into bowls. Sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese on top. Dig in!
