2kg beef (blade or topside cut)

1 big onion, cut into small pieces

1 celery stick, chopped small

1 big carrot, chopped small

1/2 cup leek, cut into slices

1 cup cabbage, chopped small

1/2 cup beans, chopped into tiny bits

1/4 cup bell pepper, diced small

4 garlic cloves, chopped up

2 cups beef broth

1 tsp each of beef broth powder, veggie broth powder, and gourmet powder

1 tbsp tomato paste

3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp sweet chili sauce

1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped

3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

2 tbsp fresh garlic chives, chopped

1 sprig of rosemary

1/2 tsp celery salt

1/4 tsp salt and cracked black pepper
Rich Slow Cooked Beef: Directions

Cook the beef until brown on all sides, then take it out of the pot.

Put in the veggies and herbs, and stir for 2 minutes.

Add all other stuff and mix it up good.

Put the beef back in the pot.

Let it cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, until the meat starts to break apart easy.

Taste and add more salt or pepper if you want.

You can pull the beef into shreds or cut it into chunks to eat.

Make the sauce thicker if you like, right before serving.

Eat it with mashed potatoes.
Notes
You can mix in some curry powder to change up the taste.
