Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff is a comfort meal cooked slowly in a slow cooker using tender beef, mushrooms and creamy sauce. The low cooking technique helps the flavours to mix and produce a proper meal that goes very well with your preferred pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1kg beef (diced)

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon garlic

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1/2 tablespoon dried parsley

  • 1/2 cup white wine

  • 2 cups stock

  • 1 block of Philadelphia

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 375g mushrooms

To serve:

  • Cooked pasta

Beef Stroganoff: Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except the beef, Philadelphia and mushrooms in it, stir it with a wooden spoon until the ingredients are combined.

  2. Add beef and diced Philadelphia.

  3. Bake 2 hrs high add mushrooms, bake 2 hrs high.

  4. Add 2 Tablespoons of corn flour to thicken (You can add it in a cup with water and stir it up before adding it to the pan).

  5. Cooked fettuccine 500g of it should be served with sauce.

Optional:

  • You may also include additional mushrooms and beef in it in case you do not want a lot of sauce.
