Cheesy Bacon and Relish Focaccia: Instructions
-
Line the slow cooker with non-stick baking paper and spray lightly with non-stick spray.
-
Add the flour, salt, and water into a big bowl and stir to form the dough (sticky texture is fine).
-
Take one 150g portion of bacon, add 1 cup of grated cheese and one portion of the dough, and blend thoroughly.
-
Pour the mixture onto the baking paper in the slow cooker and flatten over the bottom (used a 7L slow cooker).
-
Spread the tomato relish evenly on top of the dough.
-
Lay the second 150g portion of bacon over the relish.
-
Sprinkle the second cup of grated cheese on top.
-
Bake under high heat with a tea towel on top around the sauce in the pot for about 1 hour 45 minutes, or until cooked.
-
Note: Using a smaller slow cooker may require longer baking as the focaccia will be thicker.
