Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 17.9 ounces mixed broccoli and cauliflower pieces
- 0.8 cups cooking cream
- 1 cups grated tasty cheese
- 1 cups grated mozzarella cheese
Cheesy Broccoli & Cauliflower Bake: Steps
- Set up the water bath: Pour about 1 inch of warm water into the bottom of your slow cooker bowl. Make sure the water is not too high — it should NOT go into your small cooking dish when you put it inside. Fix the water level if you need to.
- Add veggies to dish: Put your 17.9 ounces mixed broccoli and cauliflower pieces into a small shallow cooking dish that can fit inside your slow cooker.
- Make the creamy cheese mix: Stir your 0.8 cups cooking cream and 1 cups grated tasty cheese together in a bowl. Pour this yummy creamy mix all over the veggies in the dish.
- Place dish in slow cooker: Very carefully put your filled cooking dish down into the water in the slow cooker bowl. The water around the dish helps cook everything nice and evenly.
- Cover and cook: Lay a tea towel over the top of the slow cooker, then put the lid on top of the tea towel (this soaks up extra water drips). Cook on HIGH for 90 minutes

and 30 minutes, or until you can poke the veggies easily with a fork. - Add mozzarella on top: Sprinkle your 1 cups grated mozzarella cheese all over the top of the cooked veggies. Put the lid back on and cook for 15 more minutes until the cheese melts and gets all gooey.
- Serve and enjoy!: Carefully lift the dish out of the slow cooker. Use a big spoon to serve it up while it’s hot and cheesy!
Notes
Easy Shortcut: Don’t have a small dish? No problem! You can cook this straight in a 1.5L or 3.5L slow cooker bowl without the water bath. Just cook on HIGH for about 2 hours since it’s deeper and takes a little longer to cook through. Both ways taste just as great! 🧀
