Hoisin Peanut Butter Chicken. This is a delicious chicken dish with flavours that are Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine based. To serve with fried rice or with your favourite steamed vegetables.

Ingredients

1 kg skinless chicken thigh fillets.

1 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp minced ginger

1 tsp sesame oil

1/4 cup smooth peanut butter

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

Optional: Thickener, cornflour.

Insert chicken in slow cooker. Whole or cut into strips.

Add all the other ingredients and pour over chicken.

Cook on low for 4hrs.

During the last 15mins of the cooking time, add a cornflour and water slurry in case you want to thicken the sauce.

Eat it with fried rice or with your favourite steamed vegetables.
Note: I will suggest thigh fillets, but you can replace with breast, nevertheless, you have to decrease the cooking time by 1 hour because it is drier.
