Loaded potatoes ….. I really cant wait. One of my most favorite meals.
UPDATE 1:
I keep getting asked if you add liquid/stock. The best thing to do, is monitor the cooker, and if you feel it needs some, put in what you think it needs. Hope this helps. I’ve just checked mine, and it’s fine for now.
UPDATE 2:
I use these quantities for 2 people.
4/5 medium to large potatoes, diced
2 red onions finely chopped
5 rashers grilled bacon. Cut up small
Grated cheese.
Salt, pepper, garlic salt, paprika. To taste
Put all ingredients in slow cooker, and on low for up to 8 hrs. For 2 people it’s usually ready after 5/6 hrs.
1/2 hour from end of cooking time, add more grated cheese if desired.
Tasted much nicer than it looks, I promise you.

Dirty loaded spuds… OMG comfort food heaven 🐷🐷 potatoes, bacon, salami, pepperoni, cheese, all chopped and layered and cooked for bout 4 hours.
I microwaved spuds first for about 10 minutes (like I would if I was doing jacket spuds in the oven) then sliced and layered spuds, meats, cheese and repeated till all ingredients used.
NO liquid was added at all.
Cooked for an hour on high, then 3 low. Lid on.
Raw bacon was added and was done to perfection, the edge were crisper but all added to flavour. x
