Tried the Roast Potatoes in the Slow Cooker and they go very crispy.
Recipe:
Preheat slow cooker on high..
Parboil potatoes.
Drain, agitate them with a fork, melt butter on them and dust with plain flour and herbs.
Put oil in slow cooker.
Cook on high 3 hours with tea towel under the lid for very crispy ones.
Leave on low after three hours until you need to serve.
(Note I turned then at least every thirty minutes to get even cooking)

Question….. How much oil do you put in please?
Answer……. It’s about a table spoon enough to coat the bottom of the slow cooker and coat the potatoes with it as you put them in. I just spooned the potatoes round the slow cooker to coat them.
Question….. What’s the towel do?
Answer……. Soaks up the steam so crisper.
Question…… Do you parboil or straight in and do you spray them at all ? X
Answer……. Part boil then leave to dry in colinder..few mins and spray in oil lightly first i cut then small in cubes.
Question…… what oil did u use please.
Answer…….. Vegetable oil.
