Slow Cooker Beef and Yorkie pud Recipe
Beef seared then placed in a pre heated slow cooker ….. with boiling stock ( which made garvy ) for 1.5 hours on a medium .. left to rest for 30 mins in foil .. dished with homemeade yorkies and veg … went down a treat 😋
Yorkie pud Recipe
4 eggs
140 grams plain flour … 200ml milk …..
Mix the eggs and milk together first , then sieve the flour in and whisk ….i leave mine to go to room temp ….
I leave my oil in a deep muffin tin in a hot oven untill steaming …
Make sure no yorkie mix drips on the tray , as it catches as they rise and stops them rising … i cook in the middle of the oven on 200 .. think thats 7 for around 25 mins ….
( the easiest way to measure the flour and milk is use a normal coffee/ tea cup … makes equal measures , and im 2 lazy to use scales 🤣🤣🤣🤣) xx
And as someone said no peaking by opening the oven or they will sink 🤣🤣

Other Slow Cooker Recipe
A first for me – I’ve never done bolognese in the slow cooker….. been out tonight for a late night head torch walk and wanted something filling, healthy (ish bar the cheese and beer 😂) and ready to warm us up
Ingredients:
– Lean mince (I browned it first – don’t hate me!)
– Red onion
– Mushrooms
– Fresh baby plum tomatoes
– Passata
– Tomato Purée
– Garlic Purée
– Chopped Tomatoes (tin)
– Salt and Pepper
– Oxo
– Splash of red wine
– Italian herbs
Method:
Cooked on high for 2.5 hours – timed it perfectly to be ready when we were back
Served with boiled linguine and garlic bread… and a beer or two as why not.
