Slow Cooker Fruit Cake

I made my slow cooker first fruit cake and I must say it’s beautiful & moist defo be making it again.

Ingredients:
1kg mixed fruit
Tub glazes cherries
Chocolate milk
Bailey’s ( or cheap one)
Around 500g SR Flour.

Method:
I used the chocolate milk & a bottle of Bailey’s (cheap one) method, I just done it to my taste let the fruit soak, mine was around 21 hours then added flour more booze & mixed, put it on low for 7-8 hours.

But I won’t be using the grease paper again it all stuck to it & burnt round the sides so add to cut that off but the rest is beautiful, I’ll use half of the ingredients next time to fit it in my cake mould & I’ll experiment with different alcohol. 😊

2nd CHICKEN FAJITA PASTA (slow cooker recipe 😍)

I made this the other week and it was AMAZING so thought I’d share it with you all !

INGREDIENTS: 

Pasta of your choice (enough for how ever many people you’re serving)
1 vegetable OXO cube
1 red pepper
4 chicken breasts
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/2 onion
1 pack of fajita seasoning mix

METHOD:

1. Put chicken breasts raw into your slow cooker
2. Add the tin of chopped tomatoes, pepper, onion, OXO cube and fajita seasoning
3. Put on high for 4-5 hours, stirring at intervals (chicken will shred itself)


4. Cook pasta and mix in with your chicken fajita mix
5. Sprinkle cheese on top
6. Serve and enjoy!
