This is hands down the best slow cooker pork chops dish I’ve ever tasted. Fall apart meat & a rich tasty gravy. Served with a nice creamy mash.
Ingredients:
4 pork shoulder chops ( about 3/4in thick)
1/2 tsp salt
Black pepper
1/2 tsp sweet paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 cups mushrooms ( thickly sliced)
1 onion.
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup beef stock
Olive oil
Method:
Mix salt, pepper, paprika garlic powder together & sprinkle over pork chops.
Brown chops in pan. Approx.3 mins each side.
Put mushies & onion in the bottom of slow cooker.
Put chops on top
In the frypan used to brown chops..pour in cans of soup & beef stock and whisk together to get all flavours left behind by seasoned chops.
Pour into slow cooker
Cook on low for 8-9 hrs
May need to thicken in last 30 mins with a bit of cornflour.
ENJOY!!!😊
