Slow Cooker Roast potatoes – they were delicious!
These are simply peeled and cut potatoes, cooked on high for 3hrs & coated in a tablespoon of oil, turning occasionally. I have a metallic crockpot and use a tea towel under the lid to avoid condensation dripping into the crockpot
Question…Did you part boil them first hun?
Answer… Nope. Just coated them in a tablespoon of oil, cooked on high for three hours with a clean towel under the lid and turned once an hour. Xx

Answer… Hi lovely. It stops condensation dripping into the crockpot and making them soggy. X

Answer… Just vegetable oil x

Answer…. No. I peeled and cut the spuds, coated them in a spoon of oil and chucked them in the slow cooker.
Question…. Which slow cooker is it you used? Please
Answer…. I have a sear and stew slow cooker so the crockpot is metal. X
I’ve made roasties in a ceramic dish in the oven before and they browned ok so I guess the key might be the oil. I used a tablespoon x

Answer… Yes just normal spuds, peeled by my own fair hands! X

Question…. Can i ask if you used oil, if so how much?
Tried to do this earlier but they were quite oily.
Answer….. I used a tablespoon of vegetable oil x
Question…. How did I do them please does it work with a pot full.
Answer….. Never tried with a full pot as we are just a small family but I would imagine it would provided you turn them occasionally so they get brown x
