Tennessee BBQ beef casserole!
I knew from the first sniff when I got home today that it was going to be my first 5star new creation!
And it had hubby and kids actually eating it from the bowl before it was served!
The flavour was absolutely mouth watering!
Ingredients:
Chuck steak
1 onion
1 Can tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 table spoons beef stock
Tennessee smokehouse bbq rub (whole sachet)
Carrots
Frozen peas
Cornflour to thicken at end if desired
Directions:
I put steaks in slow cooker whole (didn’t dice or brown)!
I put all ingredients into slow cooker except the carrots and peas!
On low for 8 hours!
The last 2 hours I put in carrots and half hour before serving I put in peas – but you could put carrots in at start if you wanted to 🙂
Meat just fell apart 🙂
Served with mash! Fed 6 of us plus leftovers for 2 lunches 🙂
