Apple Butterscotch Self Saucing Pudding. Sweet, warm and comforting Apple Pudding on a cold winters night! And it’s extra saucy! Demolished by my fam bam in seconds.
Ingredients:
2 medium apples grated (I left skin on)
1 cup SR flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix together and put in a greased (butter) 3lt slow cooker.
Sauce
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbs butter
2.5 cups boiling water
Directions:
Mix together until butter has melted. Pour over a back of a spoon over pudding.
Place tea towel under lid and cook on high for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30, or until pudding is cooked. Let sit 10mins before serving so sauce thickens a bit.
Serve with custard, cream or ice cream. 😋
