Banana Custard Cake Recipe cooking away for dessert 😃🍌🍰🍴
Ingredients:
1.5 cups of self raising flour
1 cup of low fat custard
2 ripe bananas mashed
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of bicarb soda
Directions:
Mix ingredients together well
Pour into a lined silicone mould.
Place 2 egg rings in the bottom of the slow cooker and add 2-3cm of water
Tea towel under the lid.
2 hours on high or until a skewer comes out clean from the middleof the cake
Take out and let cool then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon 😉
Notes:
Question: When you say 1 cup of Low fat Custard….Is that like custard powder or the runny/ready to eat type? And Does it have to be a silicone cake pan, or can i use a metal one that goes in the normal oven?
Answer: Yes just regular runny custard and any pan is fine.
