This beef roll is warm, rich, and easy to love. Soft puff pastry holds juicy beef, bacon, creamy cheese, and fresh spinach inside. The slow cooker makes the meat tender, and the oven gives the roll a golden finish. It is a simple family meal with lots of flavor.

Ingredients
-
4 sheets of puff pastry
-
700 g steak (I used gravy beef)
-
4 rashers of shortcut bacon
-
150 g Philly cheese
-
2 handfuls of spinach
-
Onion flakes
-
Chives
-
Sweet chilli sauce
-
1 egg white
Beef Roll: Directions
-
Put the 4 puff pastry sheets on cling wrap and join them together with egg white.
-
If your steak is thick, cut it in half. Mine was about 1.5 to 2 cm thick.
-
Place the steak in the middle of the pastry.
-
Leave about 2 inches open at each end so you can fold the pastry later.
-
Put the bacon on top of the steak.
-
Spread the Philly cheese in an even layer over the bacon.
-
Add 6 small blobs of garlic butter if you want.
-
Put the spinach on top.
-
Sprinkle onion flakes and chives over the filling.
-
Drizzle sweet chilli sauce over everything.
-
Fold the top and bottom sides of the pastry in first.
-
Fold the left side in, then use the cling wrap to roll it from left to right.
-
Seal the edge with egg white.
-
Wrap it up and chill it in the fridge for 60 minutes if needed.
-
Place foil balls in a foil tin lined with baking paper.
-
Set the roll on top so it stays out of the liquid and does not stick.
-
Cook it in the slow cooker on low heat for 5 hours.
-
After that, place it in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
