Ingredients

2 tbsp curry powder

1 tbsp garam masala

2 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tsp ground cumin

3 large onions, chopped

4 garlic cloves, minced

4 skinless chicken breasts, diced

50 ml chicken stock

400 ml passata (smooth tomato sauce)

2 tbsp tomato puree

Salt and pepper to taste
Chicken Dopiaza: Directions

Put a tsp of oil in a frying pan and heat it until it smokes a little.

Toss in all the spices and stir-fry for 30 seconds until they smell great.

Add chopped onions and diced chicken. Cook until they turn brown.

Move everything to your slow cooker.

Pour in the chicken stock, tomato puree, and passata.

Set it on low and cook for 6-8 hours until the chicken is soft and juicy.
