Creamy Chicken Carbonara Recipe. To all my Slow Cooker friends this is a gem and tastes so very very amazing 🍝 it was so easy.
Ingredients:
1kg chopped chicken breast
300 gram bacon diced
300 gram mushrooms sliced
1 onion diced
3 tsp. minced garlic
2 cans cream of chicken condensed soup
2 600ml thickened cream
1 chicken stock cube
1 packet 500 gram Penne
Directions:
Add chicken, onion, bacon, garlic, mushrooms, and stock cube in slow cooker. Pour over soups. Add cream. Stir.
Cook on low for 4 hours
Add pasta to slow cooker, gently combine
Cook a further 1.5 hours on high
Dinner is done and truly tastes so good ✔️✔️✔️✔️

Question This sounds delicious however are you sure you mean 2 x 600 ml cream Please explain 🌷
Answer yes that’s what the quantity is it tastes delicious and keeps the sauce thicker and yummy.
Question Just a question do you have to cook the pasta first.
Answer No trouble no not at all just pop it in it is flavorsome and just right not mushy at all.
Question Do you need to brown chicken first?
Answer No that is the beauty of this one normally with my roast beef etc I brown first but this just cooks perfectly with nothing to do prior to popping in the slow cooker.
Question Can it be done over low and 10hrs?
Answer I haven’t tried but noodles only go in for that last 1.5 hrs on high so just work that part out and it’s possible.
Question Fresh chicken or cooked chicken.
Answer I used fresh chicken breast no pre cooking.
Question What size slow cooker.
Answer Mine is a 5.5 L.
