Fakeaway Slow Cooker Doner Kebab…. Doner kebab followed this recipe and cooked for 6 hours on low. It turned out as good, if not better than my local takeaway.
Ingredients:
1 egg
2tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1tsp oregano
1tsp paprika
1 tsp chili powder
500 gram lamb mince
1 small drizzle of veg oil
Direction:
whish your egg slightly, then just put all the ingredients into a bowl, get your hands stuck in and smoosh it for 10 minutes, until its almost a paste.
form into a thick sausage shape, wrap in foil.
Make 2 balls out of foil and place in the bottom of the slow cooker, poke 2-4 holes in the bottom of your kebab sausage and place into the 2 foil balls.
Cook on low for 6 hour, lid on.
Take out and using a tattle peeler, slice the meat.
Serve with pickled salad, fresh chili sauce, Pitta or Naan.

Creamy Mexican chicken!! Should be delicious!!
Ingredients:
1kg Chicken, I used thigh.
250 g cream cheese
1 x 35 g pack taco seasoning
150 ml cream
1 tablespoon corn flour
Directions:
Place Chicken in slow cooker, add cubed cream cheese and sprinkle taco seasoning on top.
Cook for 4 hours on low, remove Chicken and shred.
Mix corn flour and cream together in a bowl and set aside. Mix the sauce in the slow cooker with a whisk to remove any lumps then add cream/flour mixture.
Return Chicken to slow cooker and mix well, cook for a further 30 minutes.
Serve with rice and shallots!!
