Special Italian Garlic Lamb Slow Cooker Recipe….
I normally do this in the oven minus the spuds – just serving with mash but decided to try in the slow cooker adding spuds like I do when I do a roast beef or lamb!!!

My special Italian Garlic Lamb

STAGE 1
Ingredients:
6x Lamb chops
2x Jars Spaghetti sauce (you can use whatever one you’d like but I used the Aldi spaghetti sauce & it’s was perfect!)
1x Diced Tomatoes
8x Potatoes (halved or Quartered your preference – I peel some for the kids & leave peel on hubbies)
2x Onions
Minced Garlic (I normally use raw garlic in my cooking but this meal doesn’t work as well with raw)
Basil, salt & pepper

HOW: (as per stages below) Special Italian Garlic Lamb Slow Cooker Recipe

STAGE 2: Starting with some onions, garlic & herbs on the bottom
STAGE 3: add potatoes & little more onion
STAGE 4: add half to 3/4 of a jar of sauce, bit more onion, garlic & herbs
STAGE 5: add meat (depending on size of slow cooker) I put 3 as only 3 fit across. Add more sauce to cover, garlic & onion.
STAGE 6: add rest of chops, rest of sauces, tin of diced tomatoes, more garlic, onion & herbs.
It’s now ready to put lid on & cook!!
Cooking on high for 5/6 hours & low for 2/3 (my slow cooker is due to be replaced so others newer may cook quicker)

When serving as veggies of your choosing as a side (last night I did beans, broccoli , cauliflower & corn).

NOTE: This meal can be done without the spuds in the low cooker & just do mash at the end (I actually prefer mash but kids like this way and this is heaps easy with all in one pot).
