Jacket Potatoes Recipe !
Recipe:
I pierced the potatoes & gently sprayed with oil before wrapping them in oil. Popped a dish upside down in the slow cooker with some water in the base & piled 4 potatoes on top & cooked on low for 8 hrs. An hr before it was due to be served I turned the machine off. (To cool slightly with the lid on to make it easier to handle)
When I got home & hour later, I unwrapped the potatoes & cut them open, filled with cheese, ham & pineapple & grilled on high for a few mins to brown the cheese. (One of them I did the same with baked beans & cheese at Master 3’s request).
I transferred them to plates with a spatula & dolloped a big splodge of sour cream on top. Massive hit & perfect for coming home late after sports!
Will be on regular rotation. Will try soon without water – I just need to check my slow cooker can do that. 🤔

Slow cooker Peach bread and butter pudding 😝
Ingredients:
4 eggs
2 cups milk
Vanilla extract
Cinnamon
1/4 cup caster sugar
1 Tin peaches
About 3 cups of chopped bread, buttered
Directions:
Add bread to cooker, top with peaches.
Mix egg, milk, sugar & vanilla until smooth & same colour.
Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cook on low for 4 hours.
I served with custard!
