Middle eastern lamb
Marinade:
Cumin
Paprika
All spice
Salt + pepper
Sumac (I didn’t have so used some Moroccan spice
Garlic
Lemon zest
Extra virgin olive oil
Method:
Sear 1.5kg boneless lamb shoulder in pan, add to slow cooker with handful dried apricots, lemon rind, few parsley stalks & couple garlic cloves. Baste lamb with marinade & add 1.5 cups of stock (I used vegeta), cook on low for 6-8 hours, basting with liquid every now & then.
Remove & rest for 15 min or so, shred meat with garlic & apricots from slow cooker
Served with:
– Eggplant (roasted with olive oil & salt in 200 degree oven for 20min)
– Tabouleh salad (from woolies)
– Haloumi, pan fried (Aldi)
– Hummus (Aldi)
– Lebanese pita (Aldi)

Hi I thought I’d share my fudge I’ve made using my slow cooker. I have
* Crunchie
* Cherry bakewell
* Smarties
* Diam bar

EDIT – COOK FOR AROUND 45-60 MINS USING THE 2 CRUST METHOD…
RECIPES ARE
Crunchie – 500g cheap milk chocolate
4 Crunchie bars – (2 I freezes and added before pouring into a container)
397g tin of condensed milk
Cherry bakewell – 500g cheap milk chocolate
Glacier cherries
Almonds
Ameretto (to taste)
397g of condensed milk
Put it all in your slow cooker stirring occasionally. Once formed 2nd crust it’s ready to be put into a container to refrigerate.
Smarties – 500g of cheap milk chocolate
1x tube of Smarties
397g condensed milk
Daim bar – 500g cheap milk chocolate
3 Daim bars (1 I froze 10 minutes before taking it out of the slow cooker)
397g condensed milk
Add the frozen smashed up Daim bar 5/10 before taking out of the sc
