Mild Beef curry casserole

Mild Beef curry casserole. Dinner coming along nicely it looks & smells delicious 😋. This mild beef curry casserole never disappoints the family.

Ingredients:

1 kg chuck steak (I’ve used diced beef casserole)
1 large onion sliced
3-4 large potatoes cubed
3 large carrots cut into thick rounds
3 stalks of celery roughly chopped
1 mug of water
1 beef stock cube
Half to one teaspoon of onion powder,garlic powder,paprika,vegeta,
salt & pepper & all purpose seasoning & keens curry powder
Enough Flour to coat meat 4 heaped tablespoons
2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire

 

Let’s see how to make Mild Beef curry casserole

Method:

Chop veg
Mix about 4 tablespoons of flour with one teaspoon paprika & one teaspoon all purpose seasoning and 1 tablespoon of curry powder & good pinch of salt and pepper (I mixed all this in large freezer bag then popped meat in & gave it a good shake to coat it thoroughly)
Coat the meat..
Start to fry off onions with tablespoon butter and add in the meat… once browned throw meat onions n veggies in slowcooker..
In the cup of water add another 1 tablespoon of keens curry…half to 1 teaspoon of onion powder, paprika and seasoned salt And a tablespoon of vegeta and the beef stock cube and the Worcestershire sauce. Mix all together and tip on top … (I doubled up on the spices & extra 1/4 cup water
Spices are approximate I adjust to taste
Cook for 8 hrs or so low..done!
(I cooked 1 hr high then 6.5 hrs low)
