Ingredients

  • 1 piece corned silverside (pick size for your family)

  • 1 orange, cut into thin slices

  1. Put half the orange slices at the bottom of your slow cooker insert.

  2. Rinse the meat in cold water if you want (it’s okay to skip).

  3. Lay the meat on top of those orange slices.

  4. Put the rest of the orange slices over the meat.

  5. Don’t add anything else—not even water!

  6. Cook on low for 8 hours, or until the meat is done.

  7. It stays juicy even without extra liquid. The orange taste is light and spreads through the whole meat. Made in an Aldi 3L slow cooker.
