Roast Lamb Pie is warm and tasty. It is soft and full of flavor. The lamb cooks slowly and becomes very tender. It is great for family meals and gatherings.

Ingredients

Leg of Lamb( I used 1.5kg)

1/3 Cup Mint Sauce

1/2 onion, diced

1 Carrot, diced

1 pack of French onion soup mix.

Graves to thicken

Roast Lamb Pie: Instructions

Put everything into the slow cooker, and cook on low for 12 hours.

When it is done add it to cool a bit, remove the lamb and shred the meat.

Once the lamb is shredded, turn your slow cooker to high to make the juices thick. Add 2-3tablespoons of gravy to make the juices thick ( you may need to add water to achieve the appropriate thickness.

After thickening add lamb to sauce.

Roll puff pastry to size and bake in a pie-maker, or bake in an oven, till golden.
Notes
This mixer yielded to me about 20 pies.
You may add more vegetables, which you wish or a touch more mint sauce to your liking or you may prepare it in a single large pie.
