Slow Cooker Bacon Hotpot

Slow Cooker Bacon Hotpot

I made Slow Cooker Bacon Hotpot. This is something that my Dad always used to make for me and is super easy.

Ingredients:

– Potatoes
– Bacon
– Gravy Granules (I used chicken flavoured)
– Salt, Pepper and Garlic Granules

Method:

-Start by cutting potatoes into thin slices and cutting bacon in to small pieces.
– Begin to make a layer with the potatoes in the bottom of the Slow cooker. I used about two potatoes per layer.
– Now add a layer of the bacon bits to cover the potatoes. I used two pieces of bacon per layer.
– Repeat the last two steps until you have done a few layers. I did about 2 or 3 layers of each.
– Sprinkle some salt, pepper and garlic granules.
– Make the gravy (I’d do this quite thick as it gets runnier whilst cooking). Pour this over the potatoes and bacon until the top layer is covered.
– I cooked on low for 4.5 hours and turned it up to high for the last hour and a half.
I’ve added pictures to show the process and the results. It was lovely 😊 Hope someone else can enjoy!
