Who says you can’t make a great cake in the slow cooker
Chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
4oz stork margarine
4oz caster sugar
3 + 1/2oz SR flour
1/2oz coco powder
Line SC with baking/grease proof paper
Beat/cream sugar and margarine together
Beat in eggs one at a time
Mix in flour and coco powder
Put in SC and cook on high for one to one and a half hours with tea towel under lid
Butter cream
9oz clover margarine
2oz coco powder
16oz icing sugar
Beat together until smooth, best to add the powdered ingredients in 2-3 stages, mix in with back of spoon until it is not too powdery then use a whisker (if you go with the whisk straight off you will get powder everywhere)
