Let’s see how to make Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup
Directions:
Cut the beef into cubes, removing any large chunks of fat to give to the dog, who is hanging around like she’s never been fed. Slice carrots, onion and celery, dice potatoes, chuck in cooker. Peel garlic, crush clove on the back of the knife and throw in whole. Add stock, tomatoes, Worcestershire, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Stir in and set to high for four hours or low for eight.
Go sit in the sunshine and drink beer while listening to music until cooked (recommended playlist is Aussie Alternative Classics on Spotify).
Serves you and your son, because your wife has gone out with her girlfriends and your daughter won’t eat it.
I usually throw in a handful of elbow pasta 5 – 10 minutes before serving.
