White Chocolate & Mini Egg Fudge. Yay!! I made my first slow cooker fudge today! I had previously made a few last year just using a pot and the hob but i much prefer this method!
I made white chocolate & mini egg fudge and irs incredible!!
Ingredients:
600g white chocolate (Tesco’s Ms Molly chocolate)
1 tin of condensed milk
1/2tsp vanilla extract
2 bags of mini eggs (the small £1 bags)
Let’s see how to make White Chocolate & Mini Egg
Method:
– lined my brownie tin with parchment.
– took one bag of mini eggs and bashed them so they were all crumbled. Save for later.
– I broke up all 6 bars of the white chocolate into the slow cooker bowl.
– I added in the condensed milk and gave it all a stir.
– I turned my crock pot to high to melt everything. I stirred it frequently and it became lovely and smooth.
– I set a timer for 45 mins but stirred it every 15 minutes (3 times) and each time I had a lovely crust.
– At the second stir I added in the vanilla extract and mixed it through.
– then after the final stir I emptied in the crushed mini eggs and swirled them through so it went like marble.
– I poured the fudge into the tin and let it sit for 10 mins.
– I then popped in the second bag of mini eggs by pushing them into the fudge.
– chilled in the fridge for 4 hours.
– after that I took the fudge then chopped into squares.
– I then let them air dry (placed on counter and covered with kitchen roll) for around an hour.
– popped into a container and back in fridge.
The fudge is so good and the texture is amazing!!
