My crock pot potato soup attempt! Just like my dad used to make, except better. ❤️❤️❤️😋
Ingredients:
peeled/diced/washed potatoes.
Canned Mushrooms.
An onion.
Fresh minced garlic.
Fresh Celery.
Canned carrots.
A can of cream of mushroom soup.
A can of cream of chicken soup.
Chicken broth.
Whole milk.
A little bit of all-purpose flour.
Diced and seared spam meat.
Salt and pepper. (Always be careful not to oversalt)
Just a dash of paprika.

Method:
I cooked it for about 6 hours on high and now it’s on low for the remaining time. The potatoes are definitely soft and edible at the moment, but I do want them to break down a little bit more so I’ll keep it in there for a little bit longer. It tastes pretty good so far. I’ll give it a little longer. I like a soup that has a lot of liquid in it. I don’t like my soup too thick. I love the savory bites of vegetables but I also enjoy the liquid soup part. I added more milk & more chicken broth to make it more “liquidy”.
Serve with crackers and cheese!
