Ingredients

1/2 to 1/2-pound of ready-made, uncooked meatballs (you could also make them yourself)

1 can (430 grams) of pineapple in juice.

1 small brown onion, diced fine

1 small green capsicum, chopped – could be red as well or both.

1 cup BBQ sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried parsley, chopped

Extra: may substitute cornflour and water to thicken sauce should you wish to do so.

Garnish: provided as an option: very thin sliced green onions/shallots.
BBQ Pineapple Meatballs: Instructions

Put meatballs, pineapples, onion and capsicum in slow cooker.

Pour and mix pineapple juice with other ingredients.

Cook on low for 4 hours

Can be served on rice, noodles or mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
