Ingredients

  • 1 kg bacon

  • 500 g ground meat (like pork, beef, chicken, or sausage)

  • Leftover pulled pork

  • Fried bacon bits (cook them how you like)

  • BBQ sauce

  • Your best seasoning or rub

  • Pure maple syrup

Bacon Bomb: Instructions

  1. Weave the bacon slices into a big mat. Cut the fatty loin parts straight first. Fry the leftover bacon bits until crispy.

  2. Shake seasoning or rub all over the weave. Spread ground meat into a flat square on top.

  3. Add pulled pork and fried bacon bits. Drizzle on some BBQ sauce.

  4. Roll it tight like a huge sausage. Wrap in plastic wrap to hold it. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour or all night.

  5. Unwrap when ready. Sprinkle more rub on the outside.

  6. Put in a slow cooker on low for 6 hours.

  7. After 2 hours, brush with maple syrup. Then every hour after, add more BBQ sauce glaze.
