Beef Nachos

Yummy Slow-Cooked Beef Nachos. Crispy chips load up with tasty beef, beans, and spices cooked slow all day. Melt cheese on top, add creamy sour cream and smooth avocado for a super fun snack everyone loves!

Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef

  • 435g can of refried beans

  • 1/2 cup canned red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • 400g can chopped tomatoes

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

To Serve:

  • Corn or tortilla chips

  • Grated cheese

  • Sour cream

  • Mashed avocado

Beef Nachos: Directions

  1. Mix all the nacho ingredients in your slow cooker.

  2. Cook on low heat for 5 hours.

  3. Put chips on plates. Spoon the meat mix on top and sprinkle with cheese (check notes).

  4. Add a scoop of sour cream and mashed avocado.

Notes

We love popping the plates in the microwave for 30-60 seconds to melt the cheese just right before other toppings—it’s optional and yummy! 😊
