Jaffa cup cakes Recipe!
Just made these babies for hubby’s birthday..
Ingredients:
1 packet home brand chocolate cake mix
1 600ml Fanta
one bag of Jaffas
Method:
Pour cake mix in metal bowl – *I’ve found it works better with this HB one, but there’s no rules, use whatever mix you want 🙂 You DON”T need eggs or anything else!
Pour enough Fanta into bowl to make it just sticky enough – like glue consistency. Mix it all into a ball, then add a but more Fanta to make it batter like. *the recipes say to use between 150 and 200ml, I have no idea how much I used, but there’s just under half the bottle left.
Spoon 1 teaspoon of mixture into holders, top with 1 Jaffa then spoon another teaspoon over the top. * I’ve tried different amounts in the holders, this works for me, there’s no rules, you know your Slow Cooker better than me
**I use silicon moulds with paper liners
Place on wire tray in Slow Cooker.
Cook on low for 20min, check the tops are spongy, you want them like a trampoline, you don’t want your finger to go through them
Turn it up to high for 10 – 15min
**all Slow Cooker cook at different heats, you need to work out what works for you
Pull them out, let them cook down, decorate and eat!
