Mince Cabbage Rolls Recipe on the go 🙂
Ingredients:
-1kg of pork and beef mince. Don’t get the lean stuff, as the mince might dry out in the cooker.
-200g of mushrooms chopped up.
-pepper and salt.
-sprinkle of basil
-1 full cabbage.
-clove of garlic chopped/minced.
-1 bottle of tomato purée
Method:
Mix in your mince, mushroom, garlic and basil.
Bring a pot of water to the boil. Peel off cabbage leaves and place 4-6 at a time into the boiling water until they turn bright green. Drain and place on a plate.
Take a cabbage leaf and cut off the stalk. Take a handful of the mince mixture, place into the cabbage leaf and roll up – repeat until you have used up all the mince.
Place into the slow cooker and cover with tomato puree. Cook for 8hrs on low 🙂
