Slow braised honey soy pork ribs for dinner 🍴
Recipe:
1. Quickly seared both sides of the ribs in my slow cooker (have the Russell Hobbs slow cooker with searing option)
2. Once browned, pull them out and sauté off;
– 1 x brown onion
– 1 tsp of minced garlic
– 1 tsp of minced ginger
3. Put on slow cooking setting and added in;
– 1 x jar of Master foods Honey & Soy marinade
– filled the empty marinade jar half way with water
– 1 cup of pineapple juice
add ribs back into liquid
4. Slow cooked on low for 6 hours, as you can see the bones just slid out.
5. Took ribs out set aside while I reduced the liquid in a saucepan until it turns into a caramel consistency (should take roughly 15 mins on high).
6. Baste sauce on meat and pop in a hot oven (180 degrees) for 10 mins or until marinade is gorgeous and dark.
I served mine with rice & steamed Asian greens. 😍
