Slow Cooker Tea loaf , just fantastic

Ingredients:

375 gram dried mixed fruit
250 mls of hot tea
50 gram butter or margarine
100 gram light brown sugar
1 medium egg
225 gram self raising flour
3 teaspoon cinnamon

Let’s see how to cook Slow Cooker Tea Loaf

Instructions:

Pour the hot tea over the dried fruit and mix well
Cover and leave over night
Cream the butter with the sugar in a large bowl
Add the egg and beat well
Sift in in the flour and cinnamon and mix
Add the fruit and and any remaining tea in left in the fruit and mix well
Place the paper case in the slow cooker add the mixture, place a rea towel under the slow cooker lid and cook for one and half – to two hours.
Use the skewer test in the centre of the cake to test if cooked
