French Onion Osso Bucco. A family favourite our ours. Tastier, a bit sweet and thus favourite among my children. Mashed potatoes Toast it or pull it apart and serve with slaw in burgers or tacos.
Ingredients

1 to 1.5kg beef shin (osso bucco chops)

2 tbs plain flour

1 packet French onion soup mix

1 cup water

1/2 jar Beerenberg caramelised onion chutney

1 Tbs soy sauce

2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbs vinegar
-
1 x 50gm sachet tomato paste

Potatoes, carrot and Celery (Optional, chopped)
French Onion Osso Bucco: Instructions

Prepare beef in flour, and put it in crock. Add chopped veg if your using.

Add rest of ingredients into a jug and mix thoroughly. Pour over beef.

Bake at low temperature 5-6 hours or until meat separates from the bone.

Garnish the potato mash with vegetables. Or cut it into small pieces and eat it in soft tacos or burgers.
