Ingredients

8 chicken thighs without bones or skin (total 24 oz). You can use bigger ones, but points are for 24 oz.

2 cups rice vinegar (plain white vinegar works too)

2 cups low-salt soy sauce

2 cups water

6 teaspoons chopped garlic (or 6-8 fresh garlic cloves)

4-6 dried bay leaves

Black pepper to taste (fresh ground is best)
Filipino Chicken Adobo: Directions

Put all ingredients in your slow cooker, then add the chicken.

Cook on Low for 5-6 hours or on High for 3-4 hours.

I made mine in a 6-quart (6L) slow cooker.

Serve it hot over rice.
